The 5-Step Interior Design Process

1.

Needs & dreams!

Every successful interior design project begins with a thorough understanding of your needs and desires. During the initial consultation, you will have the opportunity to discuss your goals, budget, and timeline with our designer. This is also a good time to share any inspiration or ideas you may have collected.

By the end of this step, you and our designer should have a clear understanding of the project scope and objectives, ensuring that everyone is on the same page before moving forward.

2.

Concept Development.

Foundations & flows!

Once the goals and objectives have been established, our interior designer will begin developing a concept for your space. This involves creating a visual representation of the design direction, including colour schemes, material choices, and furniture layouts.

During this step, our designer will present you with mood boards, samples, and sketches to help you visualize the proposed design. This collaborative process allows for feedback and adjustments to ensure that the final concept aligns with your vision.

3.

Design Planning

Decisions & details!

With the concept approved, it’s time to dive into the details. Design planning involves creating a comprehensive plan that outlines the specific elements and features of your space. This includes selecting materials, finishes, and furnishings that will bring the design to life.

Your designer will work closely with you to ensure that the plan meets your functional and aesthetic requirements. This may involve coordinating with contractors and suppliers to gather quotes and finalize selections.
